Friday and Saturday clearly marching band and circus animal days, eh?
No children or leisure groups?
OK, I guess I can understand the “no kids” thing but no “leisure groups”? What exactly is that? All I can picture is a bunch of senior citizens wearing polyester and having the 4pm dinner special so they can be in bed by 8.
What about loud singing out of the shower? Is that ok?
Marching bands and circus animals are one in the same. Source: was in marching band during university.
It IS possible for hotels to be built with sound proofing between rooms. I’ve been in them. They are rare, but damn, do they make a difference!
Listing circus animals and children seems kind of redundant.
They forgot about loud sex.
Crowne Plaza, owned by IHG will not only overcharge you for your stay, but sell and serve you consumables for a low low cost of 300% mark up. Red Bull? 6 dollars for a 12.4 oz
Ice cream bar? 6 dollars
Food in the restaurant? 20+ USD for a 4-6 oz protein and same portion for sides.
But don’t worry, we assure you we at Very Least take care of our staff, by gaslighting them into thinking there’s no money in the budget for raises.
!!! If you make 18/hour, you can Hopefully qualify for a 53 cent raise after working there for a year.
Shit hole place to work.
If basic respect for your neighbors wouldn’t stop them from being noisy, why would a sign?
Unlike the Hyatt Inn in St. Louis that had a high school marching band checking at the same time I was trying to check out and jamming up the elevators?
Anything but a little soundproofing in the walls.
Why do noise and hotels go together? It’s pricey to reduce noise but isn’t the whole point in a hotel is to get a good nights sleep? I once stayed at a very pricey 5 star Vegas suite and could clearly hear my neighbors TV on both sides
So loud thumping sounds are ok? What if I want to perform a vacuum cleaner demonstration or a good jazz session alone?
As someone who used to deliver pizza to this hotel I find it hard to believe this is enforced.
No loud music or furious masturbating?
Well, this will not do…
I had a downstairs neighbor who I thought was watching porn with his volume all the way up. I got ready and left for the apartment gym to escape the noise. As I am walking down my stairs and past his apartment balcony on the first floor he is smoking with his girlfriend who just got arrive that morning. They were taking a break from getting “ acquainted” after a long separation.
I guess lucky her? That was a long weekend.
The thing that has driven me to book AirBnbs is that most hotels are too noisy.
Oh man, the doors thing. People are so dumb with that
