It’s a small victory for me, but I finally learned how to mod Minecraft. This opens a whole world of possibilities for me!

Congrats. it may seem like a small victory but I find any game gets ways better once you start modding them
Heh… I remember when you needed to open some .jar file with WinRAR and put the optifine mod files in it and delete some META folder to install mods >.>
The open world game now has even more things to do.
Yeah it does!!! My son did this for me on my PC and made it look incredible, and it runs really really smooth. Modders are amazing.
My problem is I can’t figure out how to use mods and shaders at the same time, cause shaders want you to use some modded version of the client like optifines launcher, but then mods want the forge launcher, etc I really have no clue how to do both I really wanna play minecraft again but I google and I can never find the answer to this.
Nice! I recommend looking into Feed The Beast (FTB). They have some collections of mods that they piece together. Specifically one called “University”. Can help you learn some of the more advanced mods! Good luck out there!
Yeah it turns Minecraft into a different game. Try a few different ready-made modpack, see which mods you like, and build your own ‘pack’ with your favourite mods.
Wait till you learn about curse forge, technic and so on.
Welcome to the realm of modding, I hope you like 10 minute launch times with infinite game crashes. The fun is endless
Now play Skyrim
Wait till you find Greg Tech: New Horizons
