This movie will be make or break for Quentin Dupieux for me.
He has a history of coming up with these great sounding quirky/surreal premises and then proceeding to make ultimately pretty dull films (I’ve only seen Rubber, Mandibules and Incredible But True)
Maybe the end bit where the robot looks at the two women and then drives itself into the lake got a little lost in translation

I enjoyed Rubber and absolutely loved Mandibles from this director, so I’m down for more of his absurdist style.
