The audio is really grating. With that mic and setup you should be able to produce audio that does not hurt my ears.
Heavy Spoilers is a great channel, it’s so counter productive for Universal to take down content that promotes their content. SO stupid.
Universal does this with Google search results as well, presumably to boost their own entries in the results. One of the best examples with Newgrounds is that Universal got PuffballsUnited’s game “Breaking the Bank” removed from Google search results. My only guess why is because there is a movie called “Breaking the Bank” from 2014 (the game is from 2008). We filed a counter-appeal and got it re-listed.
YouTube’s copyright system is not going to get fixed until one of these YouTubers takes them to court. No settlements, straight to court and have a judge decide. Sadly, that process requires a lot of money to do.
Major companies are more important than regular people. Bow down and worship them plebes.
I think this guy thinks that fair use/fair dealing is much more liberal than it is. It’s designed to allow for use of specific clips and extracts of media for the purpose of critique and review, not general illustrative purposes, and it doesn’t take much viewing of the other videos this channel offers to see that they’re a content farm using copyrighted clips of other people’s media to simply illustrate their videos.
And this video doesn’t give any real sense of what copyrighted media the flagged video incorporated. It’s a pretty general (and fairly self-aggrandising) whinge about the big bad corporation not allowing the little guy to get away with stealing their property. Womp womp.
