That was pretty slick. I enjoy a shootout that actually feels dangerous, instead of two sides shooting back and forth with nobody acting like they’re at any risk of getting hit.
What I really really liked about this is the perfect depiction of the OTA. In the games they’re represented as very intelligent and hardy enemies. They’re brainwashed, vicious, and 100% cohesive to their purpose. Very Wolf Brigade inspired.
Despite this, the games don’t truly give these personnel the thematic justice they deserve because we play as Gordan or Alyx who are unique in their own sense. But to any civilian or even a heavily armed resistance member, the OTA are something of nightmares.
If you’ve ever played on a Gmod HL2RP server the sheer HP pool given to them is staggering and no one ever wants to have to encounter one – let alone a squad.

A fun fact: The OTA soldier in this video has yellow (or green, I’m colorblind so I’m not so sure) ocular lenses for it’s helmet which is usually for those who are of Nova Prospekt guards and wield Pulse Rifles. Shotgun OTA have Red/Blood Orange colored lenses. I’m not sure if this is because of the assets from HL:Alyx or they just did it for color contrast and motion clarity or if there was no other choice.
It really is amazing. If you told me this was produced by Valve I would believe you.
