That’s how real the graphics felt when the game was new. I couldn’t believe a SNES game could look that good.

Orioto is one of my first favorite “internet artists” back in early 2010s. His paintings are how you remember the games looked.
Did Diddy do it?!?!
Am I just old when I say, DK Country hasn’t felt right since SNES?
Something like the ol Rare team gave it a soul, and modern versions feel like reskined mario, which also has felt hollow in there “modern” 2D offerings.
Would love DK to come to xbox
