Holy shit my man I did the same fucking thing. Braided my long hair during summer school and for some reason they took yearbook photos. 11th grade 96’ looking like head from korn.

O the 90’s high schooler… I was in middle school during the 00’s with bleached/spiked hair like Bart Simpson with an Aloha shirt and shark tooth necklace. I felt died inside while I was in crutches in the entire school year!

Lol I had a friend come over a week before picture day back in 98 to bleach my hair. It turned out orange. Thank god the pictures were black and white.

During my SR year, did photography for year book.
There was this sophmore who liked to screw with me all in fun. He took Spanish. So I called him labios
Again, all in fun.
As things were forming up, it just so happened that he was someone unknown to the yearbook staff. Except me. When asked, I affirmed that I knew him. He went into the year book as “Eddie Labios”.
BTW if Eddie Labios sees this, you need to HMU

Own up to it! I have a similar picture from my freshman year in ‘97 and mine was purely intentional, as I suspect yours was. I had the same ball chain necklace. I’m guessing that’s a band t-shirt from Hot Topic or something skatewear related. I had the JNCO, Kikwear, and Billabong pants. Toes capped off with Airwalk, DC, Adidas shell toes, Surplus combat boots or Doc Marten’s (if your parents had money). It was a glorious time to be a teenager.
