I’m in the southern US and have worked on numerous water treatment facilities as a contractor. Hate to say it, but lots of our water is treated sewage. It’s 100% customary, and I do believe required that after commissioning of a new water treatment facility that the sites PE drinks the first glass of water produced from the plant prior to it being released to the city.
I think we should have the local governing authority as well as someone high up who works for the railway to drink the local treated water. Publicly.
