Looks great, honestly. Honestly excited as hell for the de-aged flashbacks, going to be neat finally seeing Indy during actual wartime (as opposed to ‘eve of WW2’).
And given that Ford is 80 (albeit, a fucking well aged 80, I’d argue he looks 70), and frankly could probably still kick the shit out of me, him being old as hell really doesn’t bother me at all.
Man though, the title really does suck ass. Which doesn’t mean much, but, yeah, it hasn’t grown on me. It’s still a rough title.
This movie is gonna be like the scene in the Irishman where De Niro tries to act like he’s kicking someone’s ass but he’s also 80 and it shows b/c CGI can’t act for you
Ford is fucking killing it lately and seems to be having the time of his life. I can’t believe he’s in 2 TV shows which are simultaneously airing. He’s so good in both of them. I feel like he must have had a very eye opening experience during the pandemic or something. Good for him. This looks super fun.
Really liked it. Now, if only a good soul may upload the 4k uncompressed version of this, I’ll be eternally grateful. I’ve learned not to believe YouTube compression. It made a huge disservice to the original trailer, it’s probably doing the same with this one.
The best part of these movies were the set designs and realistic action shots…with all of it being cgi at this point, it loses what made Indiana Jones so special. The overused CGI makes it feel more Uncharted and less Indy.
Too much obvious green screen or whatever they used for the background in some of those shots. But I guess we should all expect a crap load of CGI and whatnot.
It’s funny to me how on one thread on r/movies today everyone is psyched that a 71 year old is returning to play Batman but for some reason it’s dumb that Ford is playing Indy again?
Ford owns this role and seems to be really excited for the movie. Mangold has a solid track record and gave Hugh Jackman an amazing send off in Logan. I will remain positive that it turns out alright.
This looks dope
I’m still looking forward to it, at its worst, I can still enjoy the previous movies with the same amount of love as always.
I, uh, also didn’t mind Crystal Skull
Fuck it, this looks fun. I’m on board
>My memory is a little fuzzy… are you still a Nazi?
I love the way Indiana delivers that line with such spite.
I hope this is good but he belongs in a museum.
I’m in
I’m watching this movie for Mads
I really trust James Mangold to give Indy a helluva send off. I honestly don’t care that Ford is 80 haha
Fucking Hell! That John Williams score still gives me goosebumps!

So if Indy is like 35 years older than he was in Last Crusade, which let’s face it he looks like it, shouldn’t this take place in the 80s?
Why does everything look like the 50s. Again.
Was that Marion at the end of the trailer?
Not gonna lie… looks fun! I’m down.
Indiana Jones and the Screen of Green
Going off of the bomber this either involves time travel or an underground Nazi ring

Still alot of red flags around the movie, but I can hope for the best lol
Surprised nobody has mentioned that final shot yet. That island looks…interesting.

Honestly this looks leagues better than crystal skull, I’m totally down for this
*Who you gonna dial..*
Please don’t suck, please don’t suck, please don’t suck…
So this confirms the time travel plot?

Lots of CGI makes me nervous. Still recovering from Shia LaBeouf swinging with chimps

Indy’s face seems CGIed on
Another pile of corporate slop gleefully consumed by the discerning palates of r/movies
This sucks
While this looks promising, an Indy movie without the involvement of Spielberg and Lucas in the creative process just feels wrong.
Too much obvious green screen or whatever they used for the background in some of those shots. But I guess we should all expect a crap load of CGI and whatnot.
Mads Mikkelsen gives me such flashbacks to the creepy Nazi from the first film.

They got the look right at least.
Hope it’s good, Indie trilogy are some of my favorite movies. The fourth was not great.
At least I didn’t see any refrigerators in this trailer.
Harrison Ford and plane crashes… name more iconic duo
John Rhys-Davies (Sallah) is two years *younger* than Harrison Ford. Let that sink in.
Awful cgi. Just like the last one.
Is he making a phone call?
That title,man.
Indiana Jones and the Diaper of Destiny
