I hope a plot point is they need the help of Bob Hoskins and John Leguizamo’s Mario and Luigi to defeat the big bad a la ugly Sonic in Chip n Dale Rescue Rangers.

Grew up with the Mario series, do got some gripes about some VA choices, but the trailers have been good. The marketing for this movie has been great.
If they wanted points the would’ve spoofed NES box art for the first game. The NA/UK version and the EU/JP version.

I think a few things will work for this movie. The visuals and everybody else.
Chris Pratt Mario will likely be a minus point on it. But everything else will be great for it.
I’m super excited but I actively avoid any post about the movie. I can take criticism, but the amount of angsty and negative comments are really bringing down my mood. The movie isn’t even out and people are convinced it’s the worst thing ever created because no one agrees on VA.
I wish the mushroom kingdom and bowsers castle were more evenly aligned. I don’t know why it even sticks out or bothers me. But otherwise I don’t mind a floating head poster when it’s cool. Nice colors. Vibrant. Pops.

This is what I wanted the Sonic movie to be.
Voice drama aside, its so surreal to see this movie poster and it’s just real. The character designs could’ve been so much different.
So is the blue shell koopa guy actually gonna be a principal character?
