All I see is a wall, what are we looking at?
Steve Carell has a series called space force. That’s pretty hilarious and touches on the irony of this military division.
Why does everyone think they go into space? That’s not what it’s about.
*It’s only ~8,000 people, and most are prior Air Force in the space monitoring and missile career fields.
This explains everything

Space force is such a stupid name. Sounds like it’s straight out of a parody movie
Wasted a perfect opportunity to make uniforms like in star trek.
In space no one can see you scream.
Obv this is for ground based operations. Most of the Space Force (I hate that name) will be ground-based. Just like how the US Air Force is called the Chair Force because most of them do not fly. And they wear camo because it’s what militaries wear.
Keep in mind these are the people in charge of satellite ground stations in combat zones. They provide the communications, anti-jamming and anti-spoofing to those radio threats, and lots more likely classified actions which can detect and divert missile threats.
So cammo? You [betcha!](https://duckduckgo.com/?q=army+tactical+satellite+ground+station&t=ffab&iar=images&iax=images&ia=images)
Probably one of the ground troops of Space Force. Remember the guys in Star Trek who beamed along to alien planets only to get killed?
Where is SG1
Everyone here talking mad shit like we are never gonna have wars in space.
Could be worse, the navy tried to make their spin on camo with blues and greys until it was pointed out that it was literally the worst color combo a sailor could wear if they were swept overboard
Using multicams as a regular working uniform makes sense because the DOD has long-lasting contracts with companies to keep making those uniforms.
The thing that I never understood though, was why the Navy went with their blue camouflage working uniforms. If a sailor falls off of a ship at sea, they’re wearing clothes that blend in with the water, making them harder to find. Any sailor that’s going to be required to be camouflaged is going to wear clothing that blends in with that environment, but the vast majority of the Navy does not need to camouflage themselves. I don’t know how many people fall off of ships every year, but if I was the guy who fell off of a ship underway and was wearing an outfit that blended in with the abyss that surrounded me, I would be a little worried
I still think this would have been the ideal time to dust off “Star Command”.
UCP actually works well in a gravel pit, so it should work well on the moon. I think they should have transferred all the old UCP stuff to Space Force. Though that pattern works for terrestrial deployments well.
Should have been black with flickering LEDs
So Stargate uniforms then?
When you go through the stargate, most worlds just look like pnw so this makes perfect sense.
Space force should go back to being Airforce or NASA Spaceforce wtf someone watched Alians and wanted the space marines
It’s so they won’t get picked on while working at the Pentagon
The Space Force is a complete waste of time and money.
The most unnecessary and stupid idea ever. The Air Force already covers space and as a veteran I find this whole thing completely asinine.
Black people come with natural camouflage in space
In space no one can hear your camouflage.
The name was bad enough. I’m actually glad they didn’t show up lookin like Captain Kirk
It’s a cute step towards a true space force camouflage (cloaking device)
How very… terrestrial
Haven’t you guys watched Stargate ?
what they supposed to wear, silver jump suites?
