Wait….if it was every 33 minutes, then why was 33 marked on the clock? 33 minutes would make the attacks rotate around.
33 then 6 after, then 39, then 12 after, then 48, then 18 after, then 54, then 24 after, then 00, then 33 again to repeat the cycle. But they had physical clocks marked with a 33…was someone moving it each time?
I grew up as a mormon. I saw this series after I had left the religion, and I immediately saw the mormon correlations and symbolism when I watched it. Sure enough, when I looked it up, the creator of BSG was indeed a Mormon. Love this series
I remember seeing this episode and having a “holy shit” moment. I had skipped the miniseries. I grew up with the original series and had thought it was going to be as bad as the ’70s incarnation.
If they had ended it after the 3rd season, it would have been the gold standard for sci-fi. But we had The Expanse to be the new standard.
I wish the show had been given a bigger budget so they could’ve done more episodes like this. I always felt the scale of the story was epic but constantly undermined by not enough showing, too much telling, in front of the same handful of sets.
I tried showing this show to my girl. Watched this and the next episode. She said it was stressing her out, I told her a lot of the show is them trying to solve life/death problems and get out of trouble, at which point she decided to never watch another episode.

This was my favorite episode of the series. I think it was the first one after the kickoff that the series started with.

The only series I’ve watched 3 times front to back since it came out. So good.
I should watch this show again it’s been a long time.
BSG ranked as some of my favorite SciFi scenes of all time, until the Expanse came out.
It’s a shame the writing drifted a bit in the final season, but there are some stellar episodes scattered throughout the show.
The first few seasons of this show were so good
As someone who only watched the first few episodes and forgot about the series..
Why was it every 33 minutes? Did they ever explain?
The 3 part series, and this episode are what made BSG so damned good. Everything after that is just going downhill.
It’s too bad after season 3 BSG turned into Lost post season 3. It was just a nonsensical mess of a mess.
The episode where they stumble into the Pegasus was great

It will be interesting to see what the new series is like

So that’s fun
