RIP. Enjoy your two cats in the yard.
Such a talent. He’ll certainly be missed. He optimized the 60’s-70’s California music scene and kept it rolling throughout his life. Long live Croz!
💔
My mom was crying when she found out.
RIP. You brought us such joy!
Without a new liver he would have died long ago.RIP
This somehow makes me want a folk music mockumentary with Jack Black, Stavros Halkias, and Nicholas Cage.
🙏🏽🫶🏾
An excellent clip from the “Woodstock” film that captured the great acoustic sound of the group. What a wonderful sound the group had as they sang together. The section starting at about 2:30 (which begins with the lyric “Friday evening…”) was always so touching.
My 8 year old daughter started singing along with the video as it was playing.
Their music will live on.
Saying it was only their third time performing is a little disingenuous. Maybe as CSN it was but Crosby joined the Byrds in 1964 and had a number 1 single in 1965. It’s not like they were unknowns haha
Him too? January 2023 seems like the year and month everyone died.
Definitely a top 5 performance at Woodstock.
That’s how it goes. Enjoy the new life Mr. Crosby.
🙏🏼 who in the world would have guessed he’d hit 51 much less 81? Rip
Aww. Cuts off before the doo doo do doot doos
His last couple albums are really really good. A total legend.
Rip my brother 💔🙏🎸
Ty 4 all the great tunes through the years.
A few of the greats dying recently.
Their music is still my go-to happy place after over 50 years. They’ll always live.
My dad died Tuesday, the day before him this week. This song lived in my head as a kid and touches me more now. Thanks for posting it. Just cried and shared it with my mom.
“Little less bottom end on the guitar, please.” Legends.
“We’re scared shirtless man!”
Heres hoping Stephen is around for a while longer, and Graham of course..
Neil was beside Steven at this performance. Didn’t want the cameras in his face and told the camera man to fuc& off. He didn’t want to be in the movie. They did an amazing job at not showing him
God bless our musicians
I will never forget hearing this song for the first time when I was about 14 on the am radio in our kitchen. I was stunned and captured for all time. I said to myself, “This is for me!” SO GOOD!
