Seems like a literal trip. There are some images here I rather would have not seen beforehand!
Although more of a comedy, this is Ari Aster for sure. The screaming is there.

I haven’t heard that song since William H Macy walked into a bar in Paul Thomas Anderson’s Magnolia.
I had no idea what to expect but this was not it. I cannot wait to see this. Some of the visuals are giving me Gondry/Kaufman vibes and I’m very intrigued to see what Aster does with them.
A horror adventure from Ari Aster. Please take all the money.
Ari Aster love to tip the hat for the classics, as it was to Rosemary Baby and The Wicker Man. Are you guys seeing anything here? besides the clear Wiz of Oz?

As someone who read the synopsis of the 2014 script, this doesn’t even begin to touch on how fucking weird it gets.

Looks insane, literally use any frame from this trailer as the poster for the movie other than the godawful poster they gave it.
This looks way more in line with his short film Munchausen.
Rarely has a trailer left me so baffled yet so curious. Looks visually off the wall and very different to anything I’ve seen of Aster beforehand (seen his short films too).

This looks like Ari Aster is doing a Charlie Kaufman script – the aesthetic reminds me of Eternal Sunshine, I’m Thinking of Ending Things, and Synecdoche, New York. A marriage made in heaven for me.

This is strange. I love Aster and this feels very different then his previous works. I am really excited to see what he has brought onto the table!

Speaking from someone who doesn’t really know any of these actors or directors or movies in general, this looks like what it would be like to have dementia… From the opening scene where he is transformed into a little boy for a moment, to no one wanting him to leave, getting hit by a car, everything looking confusing and cartoonish…
Just my 2¢, but I wanna see it!
I have full trust in Ari Aster and am very much looking forward for this movie to haunt me for months.
