Ribbed for her pleasure.

Who tf cares if it was designed by a woman or a man
This building is 1191’ tall. The tallest building in the world is 1531’ taller at 2722’. Approximately 2.3x taller.
Hate when people say “made by a woman” without putting the name of the woman.
Anyways her name is Jeanne Gang and her architecture firm is called Studio Gang Architects.
Impressive, for a woman
It does have curves…
Designed by Jeanne Gang with
Studio Gang Architects
Cool looking building.
Who cares??
That’s a lot of glass for breaking the glass ceiling
Most skyscrapers have huge architecture teams, so this probably isn’t the highest building designed by a woman, just the highest where a woman got to take all the credit
Bruh why is there a need for “by a woman” nobody cares if it’s made by man or a woman. Why not just put her name instead lmao
I think it looks cool. I like it.
Size queen
It’s just another bland tower. Quite patronising to pretend that it’s special.
Is this really how we quantify stuff now? That’s insane.
Oh I can definitely see it was a women. Pretty impressive tho, for a women.
I don’t understand why we always have to say yeah that is made by a woman. Isn’t it impressive. That doesn’t make sense. Every person should be the same and if you say. Yeah that’s the tallest building designed by a woman that just implies that there are taller building designed by man. It’s should just not important what gender somebody has in my option.
This building has lovely lady lumps. In the back AND in the front. Check it out!
Couldn’t even use a ruler /j
She couldn’t even built it straight!
I like my skyscrapers like I like my women… expensive and curvy….
The little dolphin or rabbit is on the other side of the building. They call it a gargoyle
I know St Regis is a private company name, but it’s a bit fitting it’s the tallest designed by a woman because the actual St Regis is known for protecting at risk women.
See the open floors near the top? I recently learned that the building failed wind shear testing after completion and the solution was to take out those floors.
That glass ceiling
I can see her indecision about every 10 floors. Just like when I ask my wife what she wants for dinner….
The hollow floors at the top to prevent swaying is something else
To all the folks asking why mention it’s designed by a woman…….there aren’t a lot of skyscrapers designed by women. Pretty dense to imply there has been a level playing field or imply equality. Historically, there hasn’t. If you want to celebrate skyscrapers designed by a man, go ahead. You’ll find a lot.
This complaint is right up there with people who complain about recognizing International Women’s Day but not International Men’s Day.
It’s disgusting to me that there is a building design cap between men and women. Like wages, it should be equal ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|stuck_out_tongue)
My god the commenters in here are idiots.

I loved Designing Women.
Looks aesthetically pleasing, but man, as an engineer I can’t imagine the headaches those angles caused in the structural design process.
She did the Aqua tower in Chicago as well, she has some of the coolest designs in the US! Jeanne Gang is her name
I love this building since the first time I saw it! I look for it every time I go downtown, it’s fascinating to see.
Someday the designs will speak for themselves and won’t have to be labeled- Designed by Man, Women or ethnicity -Its a very cool design
Ribbed for her pleasure.
… it’s ugly AF. Also why does the gender of the architect behind it matter?
Why does the gender of the person matter?
So, not the worlds tallest building?
