I don’t think I have a title I like from a disliked franchise…
I have the opposite (most recent example being Metroid Dread… I like the exploration aspect, I don’t want to have to run willy-nilly through the environment just because I failed at stealth).
Final Fantasy Tactics.
I remember this game. Dammm brings me way back
Borderlands 2. Everything else in the franchise is garbage.
I like Darius Twin on the SNES because I played it a lot as a kid, but I don’t really like shmups much.
The first Devil May Cry on PS1 and Ninja Gaiden for original XBOX.
That game kicked my ass as a kid, but I still rented it repeatedly
I like the sonic franchise and the last of us.
Zelda.
Loved Link to the Past. Beat it multiple times as a kid in my SNES.
The others…meh
I just started dead craft on ps5, just the demo, but it was made by marvelous and usually they put out border line hentai so this has been a nice change. It’s a cool game so far.
Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare

Has anyone ever noticed how Arthur’s arm is bent on the art?
I’m not really into fighting games but I always enjoyed Soulcalibur 2 (I haven’t tried any of the other Soulcalibur games though).
Metal gear rising from the metal gear franchise. MGR is so much fun to play, but holy hell do I hate stealth gameplay.
i like the Assassins Creed franchise but really don’t like syndicate or origins, never got into the stories enough to blame the story for anything, but just the mechanics and the general feel when playing those are off from what you expect when being used to the previous Assassins Creed games.
kinda feel like that’s the only way to explain it, i’ve tried giving them a chance so many times but never get too far in before i just giving up because of how they feel when playing them.
