There was a bolt in my fast food sandwich and it broke my tooth.

They literally told you to screw yourself
Remember not to order that again. There’s too much iron in it
Where there’s blame there’s a claim
We put bits of the subway in Subway
You should probably speak to the manager.
Thats gonna cost a tooth n nail
Are you sure the bolt wasn’t in your mouth before the sandwich? – their lawyer probably
I. DROPPED THE SCREW. IN THE TUNA.
Where’s the tooth?
Was it fast food or fastener food? 🤔🤔
Ew where was this
The tooth feels bad, but the lawsuit feels good
“the intentions of my client were good. They offered a sandwich that was full of multivitamins and IRON” their lawyer
Reminds me of Kenan and kel. I put the screw in the tuna.
Happens a lot… probably 5-10 times in my 20 year career. Washers, screws, bolts, paper clips… bad luck man.
Did you tell them you had a nut allergy?
Find a plaintiffs tort attorney.
That restaurant should be paying for all your medical bills. And if your lawyers is really good, more than the bills.
Put the whole thing in a sealed freezer bag – box and all. You can go the lawyer route or you can go the “call the chain” route. Assuming it’s a chain, going directly to the individual location is probably the worst choice – the store won’t be doing anything, it’ll get kicked to either the chain (if a company store) or the franchise owner (if franchised), and if it’s a franchise owner then you have no idea who or what you’ll be dealing with.
If the screw was within the chicken itself then it’s going to eventually get kicked over to the supplier for that because that was a manufacturing problem. The local store, franchise and even chain will kick it to the next level anyway.
As long as you don’t mess with it or clean it, there’s a pretty good chance they’ll be able to track that screw back to the plant and machine it fell out of.
Edit: and keep your receipts, for the meal, the dentist, travel to/from the dentist, time spent making and attending appointments, etc. You’re not going to get rich, but you should be “made whole” plus some amount of apology/settlement, and being made whole will include covering your costs and the cost of your time.
Hey, I mean you’re safe if you had a nut allergy at least.
Prove it. Let’s see the tooth.
How hard did you bite that sandwich
Today, in things that didn’t happen…
That sucks.
I, DROPPED THE SCREW, IN THE TUNA
Riiiiiggggghhhhhttttt

Well most food proccessing pass through a metal detector, so it would have to be from the restaurant.
Damn sorry bro. Let me know where to eat so I can support your new business.
Is that not what you ordered?
Stainless steel machine screw, most likely from some equipment in the restaurant since stainless is required for food grade machinery. “Sue me, sue you, sue everybody!!”
I have an admission.
I, dropped the screw, in the tuna!
Iiiiiii dropped the screwwww in the tunaaaaaa!!!
# BETTER CALL SAUL
You sure it wasn’t something like [this](https://youtu.be/m29-zmykcIg) that happened?
[deleted]
That is a bolt from a cutting board or hood hinge that covers the cold table
Suing time.
Congrats on the massive pay day
That’s a lawsuit and a half
I think that’s pronounced “LAWSUIT”
I bet you won’t be bolting back there anytime soon
Am I the only one thinking instant bullshit on this? A goddamn #10 x 1 1/4 machine screw was in your mouth long enough for you to chop down on it and you didn’t fucking notice? Stop shit posting.
A likely story
Lawyer here. Save it and hire an attorney BEFORE you complain to the food outlet or let them see it. The lawyer will know what to do, which is to immediately seek a court ordered expert inspection of the restaurant, possibly after filing a lawsuit but before the restaurant is notified of it. There you may find a machine or fixture of some sort that’s missing a screw of exactly that type. You will know because there are likely to be other screws in the machine which match it exactly. This will defeat a later defensive claim that you planted the thing.
If you let the restaurant know before you have a lawsuit filed, they may seek to bugger the evidence before you can inspect.

Iiiii. Dropped the screw. In the tuna.

IIIII… PUT THE SCREW… IN THE TUNA !!!
kennan and kel anyone else ?
If it actually broke your tooth, we could’ve seen blood. Or maybe a part of the ‘broken’ tooth. Seems to me this is just a karma farm
I just want to add my two cents I was a GM for McDonald’s.
One time a guy came through my drive thru saying he had a chicken bone poke through his throat and he had to go to the ER. I filed a claim. McDonalds offered to pay all medical bills and give 5,000 for an NDA. They refused and said they are lawyering up. McDonald’s got a hold of the chicken bone and DNA tested it. It wasn’t the species they used for their chicken products. McDonald’s took the couple to court and won counter damages for the investigation and court cost. They don’t play around
OPs post history is nothing but karma hunting posts and we have a picture that can be created in 2 seconds with zero background or relevant commentary. Lol
Congratulations on your enormous lawsuit settlement! I hope you can get your tooth fixed or replaced before the payout though.
