I saw Patrick race in Formula One, a total of 6 times.
South African Grand Prix’s, late 70’s / early 80’s.
Granted, during most of the races I was a little kid who spent most of my time in the pits.
Back then civilians were allowed in the pit area as long you stay out of everyone’s way.
