Wow. I bet Emilie Durand LOVED being called the Dumb-bell. And I bet Elizabeth Sandy was named the Man Hater for resisting the advances of her male classmates. William Pickley was probably called the Woman Hater for not dating enough girls & got made fun of by the jocks. I admit the Historian is an admirable title. Still, yay, official school-sanctioned bullying! So cool! The good ol days!
Didn’t this generation or the generation after them complain that everyone gets an award and they don’t have to do anything for it. Feels like a participation trophy to me. Double standards obviously
Is something like this not a thing anymore? I graduated in 2006, we had it, and it absolutely included insults as well. But then again I live in Germany, where being offended by insults counts as “being too sensitive”.
“Herbert Aronson was born on 3 October 1906, in New York, United States as the son of Louis Aronson and Auguste Tuch. He lived in Hempstead, Nassau, New York, United States in 1910 and Queens, New York City, New York, United States in 1920. He died on 3 March 1981, in Bristol, Rhode Island, United States, at the age of 74”
I want to know what ever happened to that “Dumb-bell” Emilie Durand. 🤔
I realize it’s a different time, but I’m bothered by Man and Girl.
Bessie and alfred on that grind
Man hater girlboss.

Grinds? Good or bad?
Mr. Pickslay, womanhater.
He’s no Warren Pressey.
Can we see “Prettiest Girl” Helen Martin?
what the heck is a “grind”?
I wonder what makes someone a “prophet”? lol
Class of ‘25. Too young for WW1 and likely too old for WW2.
Didn’t this generation or the generation after them complain that everyone gets an award and they don’t have to do anything for it. Feels like a participation trophy to me. Double standards obviously
They say William Pickslay and Elizabeth Sandy got married and had 13 kids.
I saw “1925” and “class colors” and honestly expected *way* worse… 😬
Not gonna lie got real scared seeing “class colors”
That Helen Martin, yowza yowza
Question mark? “Her?”
Edgarda Findley, Giant Poetess. Sounds like a Hogwarts professor.
Man hater and woman hater, both of whom were probably gay
Kind of interesting that Albert Alberi wasn’t listed in any category. He must have been very pleased.

Chill Francis, it’s *fine*
I wonder what the prophets prophesied?
Gonna take a wild guess that Emilie declined to attend the reunion 🫤
They are all the same age. Yet boys are called men and girls are called girls.
Anyone else curious about question mark Anna O’Conner?
So Alfred started Schecter guitars, who would have thought?
Man-hater/Woman-hater called out publicly. That one’s a surprise to me.
interesting that the school was apparently full of full grown men and… girls
This is literally an “old school.” Nicely done.
I really hope Woman Hater William Pickslay and Most Popular Man/Best Dancer John Carney got together in the end.
”Woman Hater” Would that mean a Misogynist or Homosexual?
It would be hilarious if we still had a woman and man hater
Ahhh. Back when names Helen and Dorthy were actually used 🙂
The one I’m not even going to pretend to understand is “Grinds”. Anyone have any insight as to what they may mean?
Edgarda Findley, the giant poetess
I wanna know what became of ol Question Mark Anna.
I would love to see all the people listed. This was such a good find.
Interesting to see the names, too. Gives you a sense of the neighborhood they were in and their backgrounds.
I think I remember the antics when the school prophet and giggler got detention together in The Breakfast Club.
What high school is this?
I’m just honestly surprised that
1) women were going to school
2) it was co-Ed
Why was your grandfather’s picture there?
1925 was 97 years ago btw
