im watching this immediately, this was incredible thanks for completing my high.
I saw this when Raw came out. I thought about this bit many times since. It really sums up how I grew up. We didn’t go to restaurants. Or the doctor or dentist for that matter. We literally got gubmint cheese off the back of a truck stopped in the middle of the street. My gramma would chop a chickens head off out back and pluck the feathers and we have chicken and dumplings along with collard greens my grandpa grew across the street in a vacant lot. What he’s talking about is being poor, but better off bc McDonald’s is shit food compared to downhome cooking. My take anyway.
