I made it 20 seconds into this trailer and had to stop. Not because the movie is bad; it isn’t at all. The trailer is fucking awful though. It feels like (the timing, dialogue, flow…) feel like s generic trailer for a regular movie made today. Gross.
I’ve had the same reaction to pretty much all of the trailers coming from Disney in the past couple weeks:
1. Oh, *good*, another shameless nostalgia grab.
2. Well, they’ve got the visuals down, so at least it’ll *look* good.
3. Actually, this doesn’t look half bad, maybe this will be worth a watch when it drops.
4. What the actual fuck is this music?
Seriously, *Willow* and *Santa Clauses* look like they could be pretty fun, but I don’t understand the unholy amalgamation of generic trailer music and pop lyrics *at all*.
Oh wow this really turned me off as opposed to the previous trailer that was spot on.
I like the movie. it failed to be the epic fantasy it was supposed to be, but it had its charm. after watching the last trailer i thought the production budgets could elevate the original to be a bit more grand in scale, however this trailer makes me think it will just be small enviornments confined by The Volume and bad jokes, but without the, even if flawed, charm of the movie.
looks like garbage, but it ain’t like the movie was some grand masterpiece to begin with, so fans will probably be happy. Glad my man Warwick Davis got a job
Serious question: did anyone actually like the original and does anyone actually want a sequel!?
When I saw the news this was being made I thought it was a joke. I saw the “hype” of the first images etc and assumed it was astroturf and sardonic irony stanning.
I was alive when it came out. It was a sour flat weak rip off of Tolkien then. Nothing has changed.
Warwick Davis met his wife on that set. Val Kilmer also married the lead lady, Joanne Whalley but they divorced eight years later.
hope they don’t mess this up, Willow is my fav childhood movie
Really looking forward to this.

Cracking film!
I’m pretty sure I already watched it.

What is with every other line being some sarcastic/comedic quip?
I will be surprised if it isn’t unwatchable trash.
Why do they have to try and jam so many jokes in to every movie they make?
Nobody asked for this show.
You can tell it’s a Disney show because every single line is a shitty joke that isn’t funny.
Just gonna rewatch the original and ignore that this exists.
Awful trailer, but I’m still looking forward to this.
[Just watch this trailer they released last month. It’s much better and feels a lot more epic and serious. ](https://youtu.be/da7BYWyvwO8)

The first trailer felt so epic, why would they follow it with this?
This looks seriously good

A little while ago I gave Val Kilmer $5000 for a Willow sequel. Looks like its finally happening.
Disney please don’t continue ruining my childhood for cash grabs. You better not fuck this one up.
Going to blow rings of power and house dragon out the water
This movie scared me so bad when I was a kid 😳
I loved Willow and Warwick Davis is a damn legend… but can we please stop with the remakes and revisits?
I’ll watch it, but I’m gonna complain the whole time.
I’d be excited if this was on HBOMax or Netflix.
Disney+ writing scares me so damn bad.

ELI5.
It looks interesting, but whats up with that DOG SHIT CONTEMPORARY MUSIC?! JESUS FUCKING CHRIST WHO MADE THIS!?
Hey can we copy generic comedic lines that are used all the time?
Yes we can
