I really don’t get the rollout here.
Sure, one week in theaters over Thanksgiving, great. But then keep it in theaters or release it on Netflix December 1.
There’s going to be three weeks where the only way in the world to watch this is bootlegs. Why??
I saw the first one twice, and can’t remember a single thing about it. I vaguely recall that Chris Evans was in it, and he was a dick, but that’s the extent of my memory of the film.
Has Edward Norton’s head always been that big?
Theatrical preview on Nov 23 but releases a month later on Netflix? Wtf? Why such a long wait Netflix?
Will the mystery be that no one else was in the room where it happened?
Saw this last week at the Chicago Film Fest and can’t wait to see it again. Only a week in theaters is disappointing, the audience added so much to the experience. Highly recommend seeing this in theaters if you can!

Got bored and looked up OPs history and noticed that they sure love breaking news first for different subs. That doesn’t sound like a plant at all.
Very excited. I really liked the first one. My fave scene is the one where they read Harlan’s will. Harlan basically roasted his entire family from beyond the grave.

Saw it at TIFF and then again at LFF and it gets better with each viewing. Superb filmmaking and writing, and the cast is clearly having a ball. It’s very different stylistically from the first one, but it also does more daring things with the structure. Almost like inviting the audience along to participate in a way few other films of its kind do.

Despite a good cast, the first movie was pretty bad. But this looks like a straight to DVD release with shit lineup
I watched the first one for the first time last week and it was a solid mystery film. Was pleasantly surprised. So I’ll definitely watch the second one, especially with Craig reprising the same role as the detective.

It would be really funny if people watch this movie and it turned out to be a romantic comedy. Then I could say I love it because it subverts your expectations…
