I did a play through on FO4 intentionally using all items as much as possible and it was crazy how that addiction transforms from hoarding to there never being enough, especially when you have an alcohol addiction … almost made the game harder in a way.
Listen, if this fight is so hard I need to use my consumables, and the next fight is surely going to be harder, then I should keep them for the next fight.
Items aren’t for using. They are for collecting.
Not if you are like me
I use all of them in the last level on the last boss
Just to make sure the bastard dies
I feel this when I play Skyrim.

EVERY game EVER!
I could probably count the number of times I’ve used Ethers or Elixirs in Pokemon on one hand.
Every
Single
Time
Νever forget that in that game….you actually lose them!
Yeah it is a hidden difficult called hoard mode
Every time! 🤦♂️
Resident evil 4. Saved all my treasure just to never sell it and the game ends
Or collect shitloads of scraps only to craft 1 item.
The real fun’s in the hoarding.
I use my items like rappers spend money.
Rune arcs… More than a dozen in my inventory, used like, 3 of them at this point…
On my first playthrough of the first game I didn’t realize what the pills were for till the end of the game, I didn’t realize they were for upgrades.
Me 1000%.
The Last of Us, Bioshock etc…
Lmao on grounded mode you don’t get items wdym
my elixirs!
I play most games on the absolute hardest difficulty, thats the only way you will use it all and not hoard.
Anything I can’t easily craft or buy is a key item, one does not use it.
Listen, if this fight is so hard I need to use my consumables, and the next fight is surely going to be harder, then I should keep them for the next fight.
No number of Elixirs is going to bring Joel back to life.
Blame Resident Evil. The first 3 RE games you basically had to hoard for the bosses.
When Abby losses her backpack in the fire I mourned it’s loss more than Joel
Look, what if i need my somas, beads of life, great chakras, and bead chains later? There could be an extra-secret final final boss!
That’s me in Castlevania games. I collect hearts like Richter and Alucard get to take them home with them afterwards.
This is me in every fallout never using the Power Armor.
till this day my Lapras is still holding the master ball i’m never going to use
