44 years ago these two guys met in this very record store and formed a band. All these years, tours, awards, songs and ups/downs later, here they are again. A friendship that started with a love of music continues to this day. May we all be so lucky. /@rem

My all-time favorite band.
There are only a few bands that could outdo a first album so full of promise and they did it over and over again.
Peter’s guitar work, Michael’s lyrics/delivery, Mike’s backing vocals, Bill’s drumming, it’s all magic and I love all their albums as a four piece.
I saw REM in concert back in the late ’90s. Michael Stipe spent a great deal of time trying to talk us all into taking off our clothes. 🤣
Saw them in 84 in Philadelphia. Bought many t-shirts.
