I’m not 100% certain but if you watch the 3d episode with like a sunglasses monocle or mix a regular glasses lens with a sunglasses lens you get the 3d effect. Again I’m not really sure since it’s been ages since that episode aired but I swear I pulled this off with a pair of glasses and sunglasses after I lost the Little Caesar’s pair they gave out to promote the episode and it seemed to work.
Funny story: Jane Curtin cracking up here at the very end is *actually* Jane Curtin cracking up. Despite being an expert comedienne for decades, she couldn’t help but [corpse](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Breaking_character). Jimmy Fallon needs to take notes …
One of the best bits from this show was Dick bringing up a pizza to the family, holding the box on its edge while opening it so the pizza spills out, and angrily shouting DAMN They messed it up again!
Awesome show.
I bet she laughed for real at the end
Used to?
This show is amazing. There are so many little bits like this and they are all hilarious and unique.
I personally love the one with the kleenex dispenser. So simple and so funny.
God I loved this show. Her laughing is so genuine, it feeds Lithgow’s performance into hysterics.
Lithgow’s acting range spans time and space.

This show is extremely under rated if you haven’t seen it go watch it.
One of the best shows. I feel like it never got the recognition it deserved.
I always wanted a buddy comedy with John Lithgow and John Malkovich just riffing off each other.
One of the greatest comedies of the 90s. Should seriously be on everybody’s list to watch
My God! I’M GORGEOUS!

The show still holds up today.
MARE-RYeeee!
My favorite line from the show is in the first episode (Harry shouting and very upset) “Dick! I can’t see through my eyelids!”

It never stops amusing me that the 3 male characters are named Tom, Dick, and Harry.
My mom had to explain it to me as a kid, but I still find it funny
God, I loved this show. Sally Solomon was my role model.
SINE SINE COSINE SINE 3.14159!
I used to watch the reruns everyday after work back in the late 90s.
And omg how cute was Joseph Gordon-Levitt!
Sadly, I have used that “Oh my god, I’m GORGEOUS!” line many times over the years.
Even more sadly, it’s always in the bathroom, alone, looking in the mirror.
Don’t tell anyone.
Lithgow gets a ton of respect, as he should, but I really with Jane Curtain got some more roles. She could use a resurgence like Katherine O’Hara.
Still does. But it used to too.
INCOMING MESSAGE FROM THE BIG GIANT HEAD.
Man this was my jam in the 90s, we’d sit down with the whole family on Friday night and watch.
Joseph Gordon-Levitt was so young, and Sally was a bombshell.
I think my favorite cold opening is when they win the lottery and yeet the tickets “that was fun, let’s play again next week”
Watched every episode when I was a teen. The show had some great actors and actresses. It also had French Stewart.
I loved this show, such an amazing cast throughout.
My [personal favorite bit](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mccFsim-RRQ), with Dick giving his review of Dr. Seuss.
