This show is amazing. There are so many little bits like this and they are all hilarious and unique.
I personally love the one with the kleenex dispenser. So simple and so funny.
God I loved this show. Her laughing is so genuine, it feeds Lithgow’s performance into hysterics.
Lithgow’s acting range spans time and space.
I’m not 100% certain but if you watch the 3d episode with like a sunglasses monocle or mix a regular glasses lens with a sunglasses lens you get the 3d effect. Again I’m not really sure since it’s been ages since that episode aired but I swear I pulled this off with a pair of glasses and sunglasses after I lost the Little Caesar’s pair they gave out to promote the episode and it seemed to work.
This show is extremely under rated if you haven’t seen it go watch it.
One of the best shows. I feel like it never got the recognition it deserved.
I always wanted a buddy comedy with John Lithgow and John Malkovich just riffing off each other.

My favorite line from the show is in the first episode (Harry shouting and very upset) “Dick! I can’t see through my eyelids!”
One of the best bits from this show was Dick bringing up a pizza to the family, holding the box on its edge while opening it so the pizza spills out, and angrily shouting DAMN They messed it up again!
It never stops amusing me that the 3 male characters are named Tom, Dick, and Harry.
My mom had to explain it to me as a kid, but I still find it funny
God, I loved this show. Sally Solomon was my role model.

Lithgow gets a ton of respect, as he should, but I really with Jane Curtain got some more roles. She could use a resurgence like Katherine O’Hara.

Watched every episode when I was a teen. The show had some great actors and actresses. It also had French Stewart.
