This was near the border, near Ayrum. It’s not a photographic masterpiece, but it captures the atmosphere nicely: hardly any traffic on a ‘highway’ between two capitals. The potholes were taxing on Lada tires: I remember every other house having some sort of ‘vulcanisatia’ shop attached to it. Oh boy.
I hope some khachapuri was had right after this
