1990. Found this spot in Bayonne to watch 4th of July fireworks. Place was packed by nightfall, had a blast.

That is a very rare picture right there
Awesome pic and the Towers make it epic.
Trying to remember where I was that July 4. Would have been somewhere in the area, but I can’t recall what I did or where (specifically) I was
Dan?
Fuckin Bayonne. It’s the Walmart Dr Thunder version of Staten Island.
Is that Bayonne or jersey city?
Great pic man 🇺🇸 .
R/suddenlygay…..?….
I see this and realize things like this will never happen again. Too much to watch on a screen; no one is comfortable anymore. One person can not use their phone but it takes everyone to get these type of experiences like we had. Here, without knowing it, everyone was in the moment, unable to pursue the next scrolling hit of dopamine. The way teenagers used to interact, the mating rituals, the dance of embarrassment until you were finally “going out” together. The experiences with friends because of boredom, gone. Was it simpler? Not to us yet it didn’t feel like we were competing with the world.
Cuse!
I married my husband 3 days later ❤️
