I found this in a box in my garage. The man on the right is my mom’s dad, my grandpa. He was the Head sheriff in of Sapulpa, Creek County Oklahoma. This is late 1940’s or early 1950’s.

Head sheriff? You mean he was the sheriff. And your dad’s grandpa is your great grandfather/pa.
Sherrif or chief deputy?
Is he your great grandpa on your mom’s ir dad’s side?
