I remember bringing in my N64 with about 20 games, various strategy guides, etc into gamestop around the time Gamecube came out and they offered me $25 for it all.

About 15 years ago now, I had that Pikachu N64 along with Pokemon stadium 1, Pokemon snap, Mario Party 4, Taz Express and Rugrats In Paris stored in the spare bedroom at my grandmother’s house.
I went to a retro game shop who offered me £20 each for the Pokemons and Mario Party. £5 each for Taz and Rugrats, then £50 for the console.
I was 16 at the time and was absolutely bouncing to have that much cash to probably spend on white lighting and strongbow. Went to collect it, she had given it to a charity who went door to door asking for toy donations.
I was absolutely fuming lol

As a comic book collector, I’ve scored $100 books for a buck several times over. It happens.
When I was in Japan the local Hard off had bins full of N64s and games. you could walk away with all this for like 50 bucks or less.
